Members,
family and friends, Souvenir Booklets are
available at the cost of $10. The booklet captures
history, photo's and facts from Mountain View's conception
in 1914 through 2014. In addition, CD's containing
photo's of the Centennial Banquet and Sunday Service
and Audio CD's are also available at the cost of $5
each.
Our Saturday Banquet and Sunday Celebration was truly
a blessing!!! Thank you to all who came from far and
near to help us celebrate!!! Our celebration would not
have been what it was if it were not for the Lord's
blessings and your consenting to participate in any
way that you allowed the Lord to do; whether you attended
the banquet, anniversary service, donated, placed an
Ad in our Commemorative Souvenir Booklet and/or purchased
a booklet.
Our
celebration theme was “We Have Come This Far
By Faith”. 2 Corinthians 5:7 For we walk by
faith, not by sight. Celebrating 100 Years for The
Kingdom of God"
The anniversary committee and other
church members worked diligently to ensure that this
100th Centennial Anniversary celebration was a very
memorable occasion. In addition to the banquet meal,
we sought out support by asking churches, businesses,
families, members and friends to consider placing
an Ad in our 100th Year Commemorative
Souvenir Booklet. The response was received
quite well and we thank each and everyone for helping
us this endeavor. The booklet commemorates the years
that Mountain View has been a part of this community,
city, state, surrounding communities and families
that stems from 1914 to 2014 containing the history,
photo's and more.
