Ecclesiastes 3:1-11
Audio - Donald Lawrence "Seasons"

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

A time to be born, and a time to die; a
time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

He hath made every thing beautiful in his time:

also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.
Welcome! Our Harvest Season Tea service is held annually every year on the 4th Sunday in May.

As Ecclesiastes 3 states, there is a time for everything. A beginning .... a growth ..... maturity ..... and an ending. An ending doesn't really have to be "The End". As with plants, there are different species. Among these species, some plants bloom and mature in Summer, the Spring, the Fall and in the Winter. Different seasons......different times.....different species.....yet all have to begin with something. All have to be planted. All starts with a seed. All have to be nourished. All have to mature. All have an ending, but all does not truly end. After dormant or "ending" period in each stage, each season, each year; some plants come back voluntarily because they are structured to do so. Some plants are not meant to come back voluntarily, but have to replanted, renourished, regrow. So, it is with everything. Everything begin from a source. Within that source, that foundation, are the necessary nutrients and ingredients to give nourishment in order for it to grow and mature.

Life entails a lot. The life we live here on earth is the season that is given to us. And within our season here on earth, we are given the time, the opportunities, the blessings to learn, gain knowledge, gain wisdom, make mistakes, learn from our mistakes, help others, live our lives filled with loving, laughing, hurting, growing, working, ministering, blessing, going to school, college, marriage, divorce, being single, having children, not having children, grandchildren, singing, teaching, ministering, preaching, ushering, office administration....and the list can go on and on. No matter what your life entails, it began with a seed.

If your seed was plowed up or trampled upon, do not be discouraged. Why? Because from that seed, any speckle of it remaining can take root again, and mature into the strong 'plant' it was intended to be when first planted. You may lose a leaf, or it may wither. You may lose more than one "leaf". But be assured, that another leaf, a better leaf will replace the one that you lost. Which may not really be a loss, but a gain. Your plant will become stronger and stronger. Nourish your plant with what it needs. Mature into what you were meant to be from the first beginning. Live, love, learn, mature, laugh, work, minister, bless, help, live within the passion that God planted in you at your conception. Do not let the changing seasons, life, drought, rain, hail, snow, heat, or anything else keep you from blooming and growing.

There will be an ending to our mortal bodies, and when this happens, all else ends.....with the exception of one thing. What is that one thing? Our souls will live eternally, but we must choose where our souls will live. No matter who you are or what has been done, or what you have done, the only thing to ensure that our souls will live eternally in heaven is to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Your soul will be sealed at that very moment with the Holy Spirit and your home will be heaven.

Need the nourishment to grow? To endure? To sustain your season? Go to the source. The true source. Feed on the source. Drink from the source, mentally, spiritually, physically and financially with sound mind, body, spirit and soul. Do not let anything or anyone keep you from living the abundant life already promised to you.

Be Blessed.
